At Swifthounds, we are committed to providing a safe, and enjoyable grooming experience for both you and your pets. We Maintain A Clean And Secure Grooming Salon, Using Only Professional, High-Quality Products And Tools.

Our Policies To Keep your pet safe:

  • Vaccinations: To Ensure The Health And Safety Of All Pets and Staff, we require All Dogs Should Be Up-To-Date With Their Rabies Vaccination . Please bring A Copy Of the vaccination Certificate Or Email It To Us at info@swifthounds.com

  • We do recommend all dogs be up to date With other vaccines as recommended by their veterinarian, but we do not strictly require these.

  • Flea Policy: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide service To Dogs With Fleas. We recommend discussing flea preventative options with your veterinarian before scheduling an appointment.

  • Health Disclosure: Please inform us of Any Medical Concerns your dog may have to help us provide the best care and safe services. This includes notifying us of any medical conditions, Parasites, Infections or Contagious issues your dog may have.

  • Undisclosed Conditions: If We Discover Any Unreported Conditions during grooming, We May Stop Service To prioritize Your pet’s well-being and maintain a clean and safe environment for all. In these situations you may still be charged the full grooming fee, Even If Service is incomplete. Additionally, a Cleaning Fee may apply.

  • Medical issues: Grooming may reveal Hidden Medical Problems Or worsen Existing Ones. This can occur During Or After The Grooming Appointment. please note that any Veterinary Care Due To these Issues Will Be at the Owner’s expense.

  • Veterinary Care: If Your Pet Needs Medical Attention while in our care, We may Take Them To A Veterinarian Of Our Choice (Usually With The Closest Available). All related Expenses Will Be The Owner’s Responsibility Unless Specified Otherwise.

  • Safety concerns: If At Any Point During The Groom It becomes clear That your Dog Cannot Be Safely Groomed, We Will stop the Service And You Will need To Pick Up Your Dog promptly.

  • Aggressive behavior: please inform us If Your Dog Has a history of biting Or shows Aggression Towards People Or Other Animals. While we have tools and techniques to work with such dogs, we need to be notified in advance to be pro-active about everyone’s safety. if Necessary, We May Use A Muzzle Or Other Restraints. please understand that muzzles and restraints are not failproof and there is still a risk of injury to both the groomer and your dogs. We reserve the right to Refuse Or Stop Service At Any Point If Your Pet Exhibits Aggressive Behavior Before, During Or After The Appointment .

  • Special Handling Fee: if your dog is Anxious, Aggressive, Or Just Requires Extra Care And Attention, a special handling fee may be added to your charge. This fee reflects the additional time and effort needed to ensure a safe grooming experience.

  • Anxious dogs: if an Anxious dog Acts in a way that endangers themselves or Others we will stop the service to prevent unnecessary stress and trauma. In such cases the owner will be required to pick up their dog Immediately. Owners May still responsible for full or partial payment for the appointment as time and resources were allocated for the service.

  • Owner Responsibility: you are Fully responsible For Any Medical Care Expenses And Damages that may occur, including Injuries To Groomers, Staff, Other Animals, Or Damage To Equipment.

  • potty break: Please ensure Your Dog has been walked Before their Appointment. If they relieve themselves On The Premises, Your Are Responsible For Cleaning Up After Your Own Dog.

  • Drop-off and pick-up: All Dogs Should Be Dropped Off And Picked Up On A Leash/Harness Controlled By An Adult. Please keep a safe distance from all other dogs while under your control in our Salon.

  • timely pick-up: Once you are Notified That Your Dog Is Ready, please pick them up within 1 hour to avoid Late Fees. All Dogs Should Be Picked Up By Closing Time to prevent additional charges.

  • Cancellation policy: Please Provide at least 48Hour’s notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Failure To Do So May Result In A 50% Charge Of Your Appointment Fee.

  • running late: If You Are Running Late, please Notify as soon as possible. being More Than 15 Minutes Late May lead to The Cancellation Of Your Appointment And be Considered A No-Show. It Is Up To The Groomers Discretion And Availability If They Can Still Provide Your Groom.

  • No-Show policy: no-shows Or Same Day Cancellations Will result in 100% charge of the Service Fee.

  • Accident prevention: While Accidents Are Rare, Working With Animals And Sharp Instruments always carries some risk. Despite our utmost Caution, Nicks, Cuts, Scratches And Quickening Of The Nails can happen, especially if your dogs move suddenly. If An Injury Occurs, We Will Notify you Immediately. if your Dog needs veterinary Attention, may Take Them To A Veterinarian Of Our Choice, typically The Closest Available. Reimbursement Of Medical Expenses And any Discounts on Grooming Will Be considered on A Case-By-Case Basis.

  • pet comfort: Your Pet’s Comfort is our top priority. Severely Matted Dogs Will Be Shaved Down for their well-being.

  • Respectful Communication: if your dog is shaved due to matting, we kindly ask that you refrain from posting negative comments or slander about swifthounds on social media. we strive to make Decisions in the best interest of your pet’s health and comfort. if you have any concerns, please discuss them us directly.

  • special services: We Do Not routinely Remove Ear Hair or Express Glands. These services Are available upon request and performed on An As-Needed Basis. you can learn more about these services here.

  • requesting adjustments: you have 24 hours after you dog’s grooming appointment to request any adjustments. please contact us within this time frame to discuss any concerns, and we will do our best to address and accommodate your needs.

  • photo permission: we may take photos of your pet during grooming for educational or promotional purposes, including social media. if you prefer not to have your dog’s photo used, just let us know. please note that owners will not receive financial compensation for the use of their dog’s photos or videos.

  • booking poilcy: we require a credit card on file for all bookings. your credit card information is securely stored on pCI-DSS compliant servers, ensuring your information is protected with the highest level of security. your sensitive information, even for stored cards, cannot be accessed by service providers. if you prefer not to keep a card on file, a 50% deposit is needed when you make an appointment.
